July 30th, 2008

The Bulgarian women’s national team loses control of its participants in the Olympic games in the Czech Republic hall “Opava” in the same city by 62:99 (18:25, 16:24, 15:33, 13:17), announced the official website of Bulgarian Basketball Federation
The meeting was one of the last checks for the hosts before their departure for the Games in Beijing, which have ambitions to take place in the top four. On Wednesday the two teams will face again against each other.  National coach Nikolai Borukov used in the match following members: Diana Naidenova 9 points, Milena Tomova 3, Evelina Guneva 19, Gergana Branzova 6, Tanya Chirova 9, Radostina Slavova 8, Roksana Yordanova 2, Anna Rimpova 4, Ekaterina Dimitrova 2 , Teodora Petrova. This was one very interesting freindly match and gave many questions for the team of Bulgaria and their future. The team missed the Olympic games, but that is not the worst thing, but may be the miss of the strong and good team. The homies were good in this match and they are happy to get the win and will play for the top 4 in Olypic Games this year.
