Atlanta Hawks: To Sell or Not To Sell

January 24th, 2015

Atlanta Hawks give their best to practice, develop and to improve their game and due to this effort they are number one in the Eastern Conference.

HawksAccording to some the Hawks have been a worthy jewel in the league for a lot of years. Even though all of the players love coming to Atlanta and a great number of them live in Atlanta when the season is over, still, Atlanta has not been an on-court destination for these same players. Hopefully, this kind of situation will change once the conundrum with its ownership is solved.

There are three ownership groups, according to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and they have reached an agreement to sell hundred percent of the team. By doing this, there will be no more dysfunction between the two older groups. The first group is based in Washington, D.C. and led by primary owner Bruce Levenson with almost half of the ownership, and the second group is based in Atlanta and is led by Michael Gearon, Jr. who owns thirty percent. The third group includes investors which are in New York and own the remaining twenty percent.
