New York Knicks qualified for the play-offs

New York KnicksNew York Knicks qualified for the playoffs in the NBA for the first time in seven years after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers with 123:107 in meeting regular-season NBA. Amar’e Stoudemire was top scorer for the winners with 28 points, Carmelo Anthony added 25 points and the Knicks, who won their third consecutive victory, will play in the playoffs for the first time since season 2003/04. The basketball team from New York led by 11 points after the first part and missed the end of the lead in the result, having recorded his first win of the season over Cavaliers. Chauncey Billups added 23 points for the victory of “breeches”. For Cleveland J.J. Hickson scored 23 points and finished with 22 Baron Davis.
San Antonio Spurs beat Phoenix and broke a 114:97 run of six consecutive defeats. George Hill was most useful for the winners with 29 points. For ‘Suns’ Aaron Brooks and Chayning Fry excelled as of 14 points.
The champions of Los Angeles Lakers lost with 90:95 from Denver. For guests Danilo Gallinari scored 22 points and Kenyon Martin – 18. For the “Lakers” which ended a run of nine straight wins, Bryant realized 28 points.
Kevin Garnett scored 23 points and Paul Pierce added 22 for Boston’s victory over Detroit in 101:90. New Jersey lost to Miami in 94:108, and the winners LeBron James recorded “double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds. Deran Williams was most useful for the team to New Jersey with 18 points and 12 assists.
